Bailey's Wedding
A little change up here from the South Carolina pictures. My wonderful step-daughter Bailey got married in December. Bailey and Chris' wedding was one of the most unique weddings I have ever seen. They are both getting their masters degrees in Theater, so the ceremony was held in a theater on Tarleton's campus, where they met and fell in love (inset AWWW... here). I felt truely blessed to be there and witness their wedding. They wrote the ceremony including their vows, which were just chill givers and tearjerkers. Everything was so well thought out and planned for Bailey and Chris did just an awesome job. Warning I am going to use the word awesome a lot, there is just not another word to describe it. I of course took my camera to catch some shots, I was not the 'official' photographer (thank goodness, I can't imagine how stressed I would have been) and their photographer did an outstanding job, but I thought I would share some of the pictures I got from this awesome day. Bailey and Chris, thank you for letting me be a part of this, it was an AWESOME wedding and AWESOME party afterward. Welcome to the family Chris!

I have heard about Edisto Island all of my life, it is by far my cousin Jane's favorite place in the world, and if you have known her for even five minutes she will tell you something about Edisto. It is absolutely awesome. I would suggest going to visit for anyone. It is not really touristy (is that a word?) at all. It was really cold when I was there, so we didn't go out on the water or spend that much time at the beach, but was still just awesome. Everyone I met on Edisto was just awesome, really friendly and a lot of fun. For this post I am going to keep it to sights of Edisto and I will get to some more pictures of Jane and her Charlie and thier friends in the next post, including the Oyster Roast.

More of Edisto Later....trust me its worth the wait!
Last Thursday I flew out to South Carolina to spend some time with my cousin Jane. I was really excited about this trip, it has been in the works for awhile now and it was really good to get away for a few days. I will be posting pictures from the entire trip, but I decided to divide it into sections. My flight didn't arrive until after dark on Thursday, so no pictures then. Friday morning we set out to see Charleston. Here are some of my favorites! The above picture is just one of many amazing Churches on Church Street. I mean wow! This next picture is of a couple of Citadel cadets that were downtown. Aren't they cute?? I neglected to get their names, but they were very nice to stop and let this Texas girl take their picture.
Double Chocolate Moose!
And Creme Broulei....sooooooooooooooooooo good.
I just loved this tree in front of this historic home.
Jane noticed these pots hanging on the wall inside the entrance of one of the homes, aren't they cute?
Just a typical Charleston home. Believe it or not, one of the smaller ones!
The landscaping was spectacular. I can't imagine having to keep that up, can you?

Here are their Christmas Cards, I thought they turned out great!

These were taken on Thanksgiving, I have just not had time to post them. I just love this family all of them. They are all so sweet and wonderful!
